Gordon Lake Disc Golf

Hole 8's tee is located at the northeast corner of the water treatment plant's fence. Players throw east at the elevated "island". 

The tee sign indicates that it is MANDATORY for your drive to land on the island or you take a 1 stroke penalty and throw from your lie. 

During tournament play, Intermediate players and above will play this hole like a real island would be played. If you fail to land on the island you must retee throwing for 3. If your 2nd shot fails to land on the island you must throw from the designated drop zone throwing for 5. Rec players will play the hole as indicated on the tee sign. Rec Ladies and Juniors play the hole with no mandatory or penalties for failing to land on the island.
